We are thrilled to announce the debut album by Kitty Maria & Élise Ehry, accurately titled “Their very first release.” Composed by the duo, this album features elements of their noise performance “Air Tonalities”. This piece combines the sounds of handmade atonal instruments with electronics and the suppressed thoughts of service workers.
Recorded by Eurico at Kitty Maria’s living room during the winter of 2023, the album showcases the collaborative artistic direction of Kitty Maria, Élise Ehry, and Eurico. The unique additional photography contributions by Trees Heil and Olga Micińska enhance the visual aspect of the album.
This album, marking the first release under the Soort label, is available digitally and as a limited edition series of 3D-printed clam-shaped USBs.
